Title: Agile Software Development Engineer

Cornerstone Defense is in search of Agile Software Development Engineers to be a part of the Space Force industries newest Software Factory effort called Experimental Station.  Experimental Station, which is named after Nikola Tesla’s laboratory and located only 3 blocks from that original location, aims to bring proven commercial Agile practices into the DoD.  These Software Development Engineers must be culturally able to operate in an open operations environment and embrace the practices of Extreme and Paired Programming.  This work is in-person.  No remote candidates will be considered at this time.


Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience in Agile environments
  • Experience with Microservices methodologies that focuses on building single-function modules with well-defined interfaces and operations
  • Must be able to operate in a Test-Driven Development (TDD) environment
  • Experience delivering within a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline
  • No specific languages required however proficiency in Java, C# and C++ are highly preferred
