The FMV Systems Engineer is a systems engineer with a proactive mindset to maintain and update systems as part of an Agile team that supports mission operations. As part of the team you will support Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline activities involving end-to-end system performance validation efforts with a focus on communicating effectively with customers, team members, and end users in a 24/7 operational environment. Core hours are 8 AM – 4 PM EST with flexibility on either end. Ad hoc support is required as needed for requests that fall outside this core window. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently under pressure and effectively identify, recommend, and problem solve system issues to ensure systems, software, and applications are properly configured to meet customer needs in the 24/7 operational environment. Key Experience and Skills Required:
MS Windows 10, Server 2016, Server 2019, SQL Server 2014/ 2016/ 2019
MS Office Suite 2016, Symantec Anti-Virus, Veritas Back-up Exec, Mediawiki
Jira (ticket system)
Basic windows script knowledge. You should be able to understand a batch file. This includes following the path of the configuration in the batch file; creating your own batch files to perform desired tasks; and troubleshooting batch files to see where they may be broken.
Reporting information to team members and leadership (status reports, metrics, logs)
Supporting daily/weekly group meetings
Knowledge of the imagery exploitation lifecycle, and various imagery systems
On call 24/7 tier 2 support

Self-starter, does not need training in software engineering/computer science fundamentals

Preferred Experience and Skills:
MAAS (Multi-int Analysis and Archive System)
Haivision, encoder technology and video routing
Well-informed of current and future technologies
Planning and tracking team delegation
Subject matter expert (SME) in one discipline/field and developing working knowledge in adjacent disciplines/fields
Strong background supporting intelligence and FMV operations
