Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE)

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the DevSecOps focused member on the Security team, working in tandem with the team to lead all Identity, Credential, and Access Management / Zero Trust Architecture (ICAM / ZTA) activities.
  • Research and analyze multi-cloud security environments to develop a comprehensive multi-cloud security approach that applies Zero Trust principles with identified capability gaps and mitigation recommendations for the migration of any project, program, system, entity, instance, Information Technology (IT) asset, or data that exists in the Sponsor’s environment to a multi-cloud environment.
  • Ensure implementation and provisioning practicality and standards are adhered to as the ICAM / ZTA architecture evolves.
  • Architect, design, and provide implementation patterns of security controls throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement to both the SecDevOps pipelines and processes, as well as to the information security tools, services, and processes.

Required Skills:

  • 18+ years of experience in a DevOps/SecDevOps environment.
  • Experience working in a software engineering role.
  • Experience working in a security role responsible for on premise and cloud infrastructures.
  • Experience with security testing at scale by building and implementing static and dynamic analysis tools,and integrating security into continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows for everyday deployments.
  • Experience with Jenkins and Docker.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with one of more of the following CSPs: AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, and OCI.
  • Experience working in a cloud and/or hybrid environment.
  • Certification(s):
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
    • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
