We are looking for team-members with creative talent who are ready to take on the challenge of Lab & Deployment Tech to work collaboratively in order to further advance cutting-edge technology, products, and services for Space Force.

Responsibilities include:
 
  • Interprets complex engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics, and understand the necessary interfaces
  • Performs complex system level troubleshooting to component level
  • Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and troubleshooting functions
  • Lays out, builds, calibrates, adjusts, installs and maintains equipment, components, devices or systems
 
Duties & Tasks:
  • Supports engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems.
  • Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems    
  • Interprets complex engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics, and understand the necessary interfaces     
  • Will be required to support Deployment activities at customer sites (CONUS and International)
  • Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions
  • Identifies and helps prototype new preventative maintenance tasks     
  • Will be expected to lead, direct, and organize Technician work
  • Works with associates in other departments and understands cross-functional relationships     
  • May be required to support development of test specifications and procedures  
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • As a skilled specialist, completes tasks in resourceful and effective ways    
  • Understands implications of their work and makes recommendations for improvements     
  • Ability to perform duties and tasks with minimal supervision required 
  • Ability to effectively interact and communicate with internal and external team members including customers
  • Ability to use computers and software applications to assist in job execution, with special focus on Excel    
  • Mechanically inclined and able to maintain, repair, and install equipment that is part of a “live and operational” system     
  • Capable of working remotely with limited local support
Required Qualifications:
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 10+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 8 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
