Cornerstone Defense, in partnership with our military, intelligence, and civil government customers, supports U.S. operations worldwide through the use of many different types of intelligence, satellite, and cyber technologies. Cornerstone’s Intelligence Sector provides solutions to the United States Government for information collection, operations, exploitation and dissemination, and research activities. Our Team specializes in software development, cloud architecture, systems and network engineering, systems integration, agile management, as well as targeting operations and intelligence analysis. Our support to our mission customers includes cyber network operations, exploitation and defense, signals intelligence, human intelligence, and critical missions and networks.
Responsible for working closely with DSI’s Customer Engagement and Product Management teams to provide the customer with business analysis expertise and project support, in a tactical capacity, evaluating internal and external client requirements and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
The Program Manager will be responsible for oversight of a large contract which provides software and services to the government in an acquisition program management arena. The Program Manager will interface with various levels of the customer and management supported by a dedicated and matrixed organization and resources. The Program Manager will be responsible for capturing, communicating, and managing program status, schedule, cost, and requirements as well as directing the day-to-day operations of the program to include planning, organizing and controlling technical and schedule elements during the life of the contract; tracking and reporting programs tasks, costs and metrics for pertinent areas of performance; and evaluating, selecting, and onboarding candidates in accordance with established requirements.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with current and potential customers, business partners and subcontractors.
Ability to effectively communication short and long-term objectives and direction to matrixed managers and teams.
Ability to perform process re-engineering.
Facilitate project team members and customer stakeholders to identify, define, and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, and challenges related to the business functions such as those supporting the Federal Acquisition Lifecycle.
Collaborate with the project manager, technical analysts, and customer end-users in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of DSI's AEON platform to ensure desired operational performance.
Track and document changes for functional and business specifications.
Perform quality assurance review and validation of deliverables for both, internal and external delivery.
Achieve proficiency in all major DSI products, including the AEON software suite: through internal staffing training, self-guided tutorials, and daily exposure to individual product feature sets.
Provide support for a variety of meetings, demonstrations, and program activities.
Provide input during requirements development as well as test case development and review.
Comprehension of change management processes.

10+ years prior program/project management experience.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment for a matrixed organization.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage diverse workforce at multiple locations.
Strong track record of organizational leadership and business management, including strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills; possess outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to gain internal support and consensus; ability to operate independently using solid judgment and without extensive supervision or feedback.
Well-developed reasoning and problem-solving skills, including a demonstrated ability to manage risk.
Ability to establish an effective working relationship with customers, technical staff, managers and peers; ability to motivate employees and ensure engagement.
Strong knowledge of productivity tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with Agile and SCRUM processes and methodologies.
Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) practices, principles, and techniques as they apply to Agile development process.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to listen and relate with the customer and relevant stakeholders.
Proven ability to communicate technical details to a non-technical audience.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience with increasingly complex management assignments, including successful supervisory or leadership experience.
Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Lifecycle or commercial contracting.
Knowledge of Federal financial systems or commercial accounting.
Experience with Federal government contracting and/or program office organizations business processes.
Ability to review training materials and conduct end-user training sessions.
