Position – Senior Technical Advisor/Information Technology SME

We are seeking a strategic, organized, and proactive Information Technology (IT) subject matter expert (SME) to be the Trusted Technical Advisor to the Government Program Manager (PM) and thought leader with expertise in technical areas, specializing in Cloud, Enterprise Architecture, and associated platforms and tools. 

Your responsibilities as the Trusted Technical Advisor for IT includes the following:
• Serves as a trusted technical advisor to the Program Manager
• Provides technical guidance and advice regarding IT systems.
• Governance and control and implementing standards across the portfolio.
• Tracking, monitoring, and updating status on technology (e.g., cloud, AI/ML) services and architecture
• Support IT application of latest technology (e.g., multi-cloud, AI/ML, GenAI, LLM, HPC, etc.) , validity, applicability, and relevance.
• Maintaining a library of PMO documents and building a repository of project templates for both technical and management to support the project managers.
• Supporting portfolio, program, project-level business process analysis, mapping, improvements, reporting, market research, and internal outreach and communications.
• Translating business processes into workflows and dashboards.
• Updating and keeping current organizational IT lifecycle documentation and supporting materials pertaining to both Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies – engaging in defining, developing, and keeping current Agile/SDLC engineering and architecture artifacts and standard, and providing oversight of Agile/SDLC reviews, including change management to ensure compliance with standards and required guidance.
• Supporting, updating, and reviewing IT technology roadmaps.
• Maintaining the artifacts related to the process of providing guidance and expertise on applicability of industry standards and best practices such as ITIL, CMMI, SAFe, Agile, and DevSecOps, and other leading industry practices 

Qualifications – Required

• Active TS/SCI with Poly
• Education and relevant experience:
o High School Diploma/GED and 12 Years
o Associate Degree and 10 Years
o Bachelor's Degree and 8 Years
o Master's Degree and 6 Years
o PhD and 4 Years

• 3-5 years of experience working within an IC Agency, preferably ODNI
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent oral and written skills with experience developing executive-level briefings and briefing to senior-level audiences
• Experience developing a technical baseline (requirements/architecture)
• Ability to translate customer requirements into buildable features

Qualifications – Desired
• Experience in conducting systems engineering and analytical activities utilizing structured techniques
• Experience in applying technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to solve problems
• Experience establishing and maintaining working relationship with all levels of the organization, including executive-level, senior-level, customers, users, and other peer groups
