Job Description:
Analyzes user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities.
Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
Incorporates new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
Develops technical documentation. Develops system Architecture and system design documentation.
Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
Communicates with other program personnel, Government overseers, and senior executives.
Additional Requirements:
Hardware Systems Engineer with a focus on architecture and data modeling documentation.
High Performance Computing Application – Special Integrated Circuit requirements, design, test, deployment, tuning, and optimization, including board design, performance analysis, and system integration.
Design, development, and integration of devices.
Large program DoD/IC engineering, design, test, deployment, operations and sustainment milestones and review (ie PDR, CDR, IOT&E, DOT&E, EOA, IOC, FOC, T2Ops).
Strong skills in customer support and teaming requirements extraction, teaming with vendors/ industry, and building relationships in support of the USG.
Required Experience:
Eight (8) years’ experience in technical program management and/or system development team lead. At least 50% of experience shall related to SIGINT, Communications Systems, or Information Technology.
Five (5) years’ experience as a system engineer in programs that encompassed systems architecture, requirements analysis, design, production, integration, test, and transition to operations.
Five (5) years’ experience of system engineering in an intelligence community environment.
Education:
B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related technical discipline from an accredited college or university. May substitute 4 years relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
