Cornerstone Defense, in partnership with our military, intelligence, and civil government customers, supports U.S. operations worldwide through the use of many different types of intelligence, satellite, and cyber technologies. Cornerstone’s Intelligence Sector provides solutions to the United States Government for information collection, operations, exploitation and dissemination, and research activities. Our Team specializes in software development, cloud architecture, systems and network engineering, systems integration, agile management, as well as targeting operations and intelligence analysis. Our support to our mission customers includes cyber network operations, exploitation and defense, signals intelligence, human intelligence, and critical missions and networks.
Responsibilities:
Design, install and configure internal servers, network devices and firewalls
Proactively manage and maintain server, network and firewall systems.
Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans
Identify Cybersecurity Threats
System Hardening
Define and document best practices and support procedures
Assist with hardware, firewall, and software vendor evaluation, recommendation and negotiations
Mentor / cross train team members on existing and new technologies
Interact with end-users and staff at the technical level, as required.
Deploy automation systems.
Design and implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions that will make a hands-off environment
Administer and support core Microsoft, Palo Alto, Intune, and virtual technologies
Manage and design Azure environment.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science (or related area) preferred.
Requirements/Preferred Experience:
Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or equivalent certification in relevant programs desired.
Advanced knowledge of Windows Server /desktop Operating Systems
Managing in Windows Servers
Managing deployments/rollouts
Managing Palo Alto firewalls.
Managing UNIF devices.
Managing server virtualization technologies.
A solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking
Group Policy design and configuration
Linux/UNIX administration
Active Directory/SAML user and group administration
Ability to troubleshoot network issues including back bone infrastructure issues
LAN Routing and Switching design, configuration and troubleshooting (VLANs, IP Subnetting)
Strong communication and documentation skills
Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
Must be organized and have the ability to manage projects of varying length
Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
Must be a team player
DoD 8570 Level II preferred, – or ability to certify within first 6 months
