Windows Systems Administrator

Annapolis Junction, MD

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 6 years of hands-on Windows System Administration experience:
    • Experience writing and maintaining Windows batch jobs
    • Build Active Directory domain servers
    • Create Windows Templates
    • Experience writing Windows PowerShell scripts
  • Management of: Users & File Systems, Backups, Patches, Security, Networks:
    • Hardware administration/troubleshooting/installation
    • Software installation, administration & troubleshooting
    • Performance tuning
  • System accreditation processes:
    • System hardening
    • Preparation for penetration and vulnerability testing
    • System Monitoring & Health monitoring & Troubleshooting
    • Use of customer’s: software repositories, authentication services, network services, COOP facilities, SSP & asset management systems
  • Professional skills:
    • Effective communications skills & documentation skills
    • Ability to work with large team of developers
    • Ability to manage a small team of administrators
    • Willingness to take direction
    • Willingness to interact with customer watch facilities
    • Understanding/appreciation of customer mission requirements


  • Six (6) years of business or related IT experience is required. Bachelor's degree in a business or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Two (2) years of additional business or related IT experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance
