Cornerstone Defense, in partnership with our military, intelligence, and civil government customers, supports U.S. operations worldwide through the use of many different types of intelligence, satellite, and cyber technologies. Cornerstone’s Intelligence Sector provides solutions to the United States Government for information collection, operations, exploitation and dissemination, and research activities. Our Team specializes in software development, cloud architecture, systems and network engineering, systems integration, agile management, as well as targeting operations and intelligence analysis. Our support to our mission customers includes cyber network operations, exploitation and defense, signals intelligence, human intelligence, and critical missions and networks.
Serving as the expert editorial resource for the publications team
Applying extensive knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and substantive matters
Ensuring corporate writing standards, including classification and copyright regulations
Facilitating discussions to identify and resolve editorial issues and inconsistencies in complex, sensitive, or sophisticated text and graphics
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Minimum of 11 years related experience or relevant combination of education and experience.
In-depth understanding of the Sponsor’s mission
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
Strong interpersonal skills
Extensive knowledge of standard and high-end desktop publishing software
Extensive knowledge of copyright restrictions and federal regulations
Demonstrated experience to work independently with minimum supervision
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
A recognized expert or certified technical editor
Prior experience supporting the Sponsor
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a scientific or related technical discipline related to the specific skill will be considered equivalent to three (3) years specialized experience (total equivalency is not cumulative when combined with an Associate’s degree)
