Our team attended the Carahsoft GovExperience Summit yesterday to discuss the practical realities of scaling AI in the public sector.
Here are 4 mission-critical takeaways from the sessions:
1️⃣ Adoption is the real hurdle. The hardest part of AI isn’t the code; it’s culture. Convincing employees that AI is a tool to elevate their work—not replace it—is key.
2️⃣ Map your bottlenecks. Before deploying new tech, identify your operational friction points. Course-correct early to pave a smooth path for AI integration.
3️⃣ Reverse-engineer your mission. AI is useless if it delays or disrupts your core outcomes. Start with your mission goals and work backward to find the right tool.
