A couple of our team members had a fantastic time last week at the ⭐Social Media Outlook 2025⭐ seminar hosted by Capitol Communicator and Potomac Tech Wire in Reston, VA. We made some excellent connections, had good conversations and mostly, learned plenty from the panel that included experts in the Marketing field across several different industries and careers from TikTok to the White House!

Many topics were regarding social media platform trends for the first two months of 2025. So far, 2025 has seen a drastic change across different social media platform algorithms — on LinkedIn for example, stats are currently showing the average post is receiving 65% less organic impressions than 2024! 🤯🤯💥💥Also on LinkedIn, Carousel photos seem to be performing better than videos as video reach has dropped almost 200% since 2024. 🫨🫨 Those are some pretty significant stats when you are planning marketing content!

In the world of digital marketing, everything continues to move exponentially faster as companies continue to shift and shape how they want users to engage with the platform, and if you don’t keep your eyes and ears open it’s impossible to keep up! What trends have you noticed as you engage with social media in 2025? 💹📈📉📊 Drop us a comment and let us know what you’re liking/not liking on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc. as of late. Here’s to staying on top of the digital marketing trends in 2025, together!

Happy almost International Women’s Day! (Coming up this Saturday, March 8th!) To celebrate in advance, some of the incredible women on our team took a well-earned break for manicures, pedicures, and great conversations. Because strong teams are built by and with strong women — and a little self-care goes a long way. ✨

Here’s to supporting, empowering, and celebrating each other — today and every day! #InternationalWomensDay #WomenInGovCon #StrongerTogether

Employee Spotlight alert! Our Q4 Company Newsletter was about reflecting on the past year, and our Office Admin and Marketing Assistant, Terry Kim, provided a heartfelt blurb on her first six months at Cornerstone Defense. We loved to hear her sentiment, since creating a positive working environment and supporting our employees work-life balance are two things we certainly strive for. Let us know what you think of Terry’s spotlight, and if so, drop us a comment and start a conversation! ⭐⭐

“As a somewhat recent grad, I wasn’t sure what to expect when transitioning into this new chapter of my life. Throughout high school and college career, I had several part-time jobs, but I don’t recall having any truly memorable or enjoyable experiences at them. I didn’t realize how crucial a positive work environment was until I started here at Cornerstone. On my first day, I was very nervous and unsure, but by the end of it, those nerves faded. The level of positivity in the office made me reflect on how unfair I had felt at my previous jobs, where the negative atmosphere affected my mood, and in turn, my drive and motivation suffered. Having supportive colleagues and managers makes an incredible difference, and the interpersonal relationships that I’ve built here at Cornerstone have made me more eager to come into work every day and give my best. Cornerstone Defense is my first “big girl job,” and so far, it’s been filled with nothing but positive, uplifting experiences. I’m looking forward to continuing with such a warm and welcoming company as we transition into 2025!”
