Fun Fact Friday! We want to use this series to drop you some interesting tidbits about our company, philosophy, history and culture. Starting with — one of the favorite phrases of our CEO, Pat Palmer, is, “You can’t boil the ocean!” 🌊🔥 It’s a simple reminder to focus on what matters most, set realistic scope, and ship value in stages rather than trying to tackle everything at once.

What it means in practice:
Prioritize ruthlessly. Define the smallest high-impact slice you can deliver now, then iterate. 📌
Clarify the outcome. Make success measurable and time-bound so the team knows when “done” is done. 🎯
Protect momentum. Smaller wins build confidence, reduce risk, and surface learnings earlier. 🚀
Avoid analysis paralysis. Big, amorphous problems get easier when you break them into chunks. 🧩

Do you agree or not?
Drop your take below: Have you seen “not boiling the ocean” help a project move faster—or do bold outcomes sometimes require boiling oceans? Let’s debate! 👇💬

A team that games together, stays together ! 🎮😂 Every once in a while, a few of us like to hang around for a few minutes after work — and whether it’s a round of ping pong or a round of N64 Super Smash Bros, we love to see the willingness to cultivate fun and meaningful friendships amongst our internal team, even outside of work hours. In fact, having friends or close relationships at work significantly boosts productivity, with studies showing that strong camaraderie can increase efficiency by up to 67%. Employees with positive workplace connections report higher engagement (83%) and job satisfaction (81%), while companies with strong team relationships see 12% higher profit. (Stats from KPMG) Those are some pretty significant numbers!

Do you and your coworkers have any during or after work traditions that help keep the camaraderie at a high? We’d love to hear about them for some inspiration!
