Looking for an innovative, and motivated individual to join a small, talented, and hardworking Linux team in a hybrid cloud and on premise based environment. This team creates, maintains, and troubleshoots Linux instances on multiple networks, in multiple architectures.The ideal candidate works well in a small team setting, has a desire to learn hands-on Linux administration, AWS Cloud and automation/scripting techniques, and communicates well with team members.
Required skills:
• Monitor servers for health and status
• Basic troubleshoot skills
• User account administration
• Self-motivated
• Strong desire to learn and grow
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate with team members
Desired skills:
• Automated instance provisioning (Deploy via Kickstart, VMWare template, AWS AMI)
• Experience with Software installation/updates/patches via YUM/DNF
• Experience with or understanding of services such as DNS, NFS, LVM, rsyslog, iptables/firewalld
• Experience with AWS Cloud and Services
• Experience with Bash and Python scripting
• Experience with Puppet and Ansible

DoD 8570 Compliance with IAM level 1 is required (SEC+ ce; Network+ ce; A+ ce)
