The Sponsor is seeking support in the domain of Endpoint Security Engineering. The focus is primarily on working in a mission technology area, which uses multiple IT systems and networks that operate in both the secure and unsecure environments. The unsecure cloud networks are primarily within Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. The Sponsor is transforming its networks, systems, and applications processes to build a secure and trusted computing environment while providing the capabilities for secure information sharing across the enterprise. The Configuration Manager will shepherd the design and implementation of the entire Configuration Management framework, including identifying and documenting the items to be controlled and the information to be captured and recorded. They will ensure the proper baseline identification of configuration items, perform periodic audits, and provide verification of version release configuration items and develop, maintain, and implement CM process standards, plans, and procedures, ensuring changes to the process methods and processes are properly approved, communicated and managed throughout the CM lifecycle. The Configuration Manager will maintain status accounting records to ensure that current and historical configurations of products can be accurately determined throughout the product life cycle and tracks all problems and changes in product documents and reports changes and current configuration. They will also participate in working groups and attend meetings with management and other functional groups to obtain information about and authorizations for the release of configuration items, drawings and software configuration changes specified as needed. 
 

1. (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with network and system development and deployment.
2. (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with information processing fundamentals and best practices.
3. (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience developing configuration management standard operating procedures.
4. (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience using code repositories and version control systems.
5. (Desired) Demonstrated experience designing and managing a CMDB.
6. (Desired) Demonstrated experience working in an AGILE environment.
7. (Desired) Demonstrated experience with Risk and Issue Management.
