Responsibilities:

Serve as part of an Agile development team responsible for delivering an end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment.
Architect, design, and provide implementation patterns of security controls throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.
Design and develop security patterns and guidelines to enable applications stay compliant, and integrate them with DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines from early stages of the lifecycle.
Build and configure delivery environments supporting CI/CD tools utilizing an Agile delivery methodology.
Oversee the program’s security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
Evaluate application performance, identify potential bottlenecks, and develop solutions and implement them.

Required Skills:

9+ years of experience in building and deploying systems in the cloud utilizing CI/CD.
9+ years of experience developing, documenting, and implementing CI/CD strategy.
Experience in a cloud and/or hybrid environment.
Experience deploying and monitoring web applications in any of the following CSPs: AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, and OCI
Experience with frameworks and infrastructure automation.
Experience with large-scale data architecture, data modeling, database design, and information systems implementation.
Experience with administering and performance tuning of application stacks such as Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Nginx, or others.
Strong scripting skills, including shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, and/or Python.
Excellent verbal and communications skills.

Desired Skills:

Certification(s) in one or more of the following CSPs: AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, and OCI.
Strong analysis and quality assessment skills.
Experience with various Linux and Microsoft Windows OSs distributions.
Experience with SQL and databases.
Experience migrating both custom built and enterprise apps to, and from on-prem to cloud.
