Our support to our mission customers includes cyber network operations, exploitation and defense, signals intelligence, human intelligence, and critical missions and networks. 

Data Science Event Coordinator (Senior).   –

  1. This is a full time position located in Reston.
  2. The customer requires an experienced administrator and event coordinator to create engaging employee experiences for people across the IC by that increases awareness, understanding, and adoption of Data Science initiatives.
  3. Understanding and/or experience with the data science landscape across the IC is strongly preferred.
  4. This individuals will craft clear and compelling communications for use across a variety of platforms to support the customer mission.
  5. They organize internal meetings and seminars, interact with high-profile external speakers, and provide communication guidance to a busy office.
  6. They foster and manage relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
  7. They support the strategy and execution of critical events, including industry data science seminars, conferences, and training courses.

Required qualifications include: 

  1. Seven years of relevant professional experience 
  2. Knowledge and understanding of the Sponsor organization and agency 
  3. Confidence to run large meetings and conduct outreach 
  4. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to organize a large conference 
  5. Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors and venues 
  6. Exceptional critical thinking and problem solving skills 
  7. Demonstrated experience and proficiency with: Microsoft Suite of tools, WordPress or other web content creation tool, creating reliable financial reports and budget allocation 
  8. Planning for potential scenarios that could impact the integrity of the event 
  9. Maintaining a working knowledge of the complex needs of a wide variety of events and documenting process and knowledge (SOPs) 
  10. Experience preparing and editing both verbal and written communication materials and briefings 
  11. Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment 
  12. Ability to operate in a highly matrixed team environment 
  13. Experience developing content to reach an IC audience 
  14. Experience developing, executing, and analyzing surveys 
  15. Knowledge of internal communications platforms to reach employees in a hybrid workforce
