Job Responsibilities:

Provide SME (Subject Matter Expert) level support and guidance to 1st and 2nd tier Linux administrators.
Maintain and operate Red Hat OpenStack infrastructure, as well as Ceph storage infrastructure.
Develop and maintain Ansible automations.
Advise on and perform security hardening of systems using DISA STIGs and other best practice security guidelines.

Required Skills:

10+ years of professional experience in building, deploying, and troubleshooting Linux-based IT systems.
3 to 5 years of experience working with Ansible for deploying, maintaining, and updating systems.
3 to 5 years of experience administering OpenStack.

Desired Skills:

RHCSA or RHCE certification.
Experience with a scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate and solve recurring tasks.
Comfortable working with mission-critical and sensitive systems, with a sense of urgency appropriate to the responsibilities.
Ability to address and resolve information technology issues promptly, effectively, and independently.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with hardware tasks (e.g., racking, troubleshooting, swapping components).
