Job Responsibilities:
Analyze the current regression tests that exist and develop a way to increase test automation in executing regression tests nightly
Take existing capability sell-off manual tests that have been executed previously and add relevant pieces to the nightly regression tests that are not currently covered
Perform routine Integration, Verification, & Test (IV&T) tasks to contribute to execution of PI objectives to test system capabilities
Required Skills:
Experience with Postgres and SQL databases to be able to make complex queries to extract information
Knowledge in scripting languages to include bash, perl, python and ability to query Oracle DB via sql and MongoDB
Experience supporting development and system integration of a software-based system in a DevSecOps environment, including:
Experience with the Atlassian Suite, including Jira and Confluence
Experience communicating execution status against technical requirements
Desired Skills:
Systems Engineering (SE) or Test Execution (TE) experience on a large government software development contract
Experience with SE process development and deployment
Experience with configuration management concepts and tools
Experience with Gherkin and Cucumber would be preferred

Job Responsibilities:
Support technical direction and design to software agile development teams, and other Engineering personnel.
Perform technical analyses and define how the system works creating use cases, system capability and feature designs, defining system interfaces and acceptance criteria.
In this role, the candidate will provide engineering support for the implementation of a portion of the program’s systems engineering.
To succeed in this role, you must have systems engineering development lifecycle experience using an Agile methodology.
Collaborate with the systems engineering teams to design and develop software
Assist in providing technical information and clarification during the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to development, testing, deployment, and operations.
Perform solution decomposition from customer epics, to capabilities, to features, to stories according to SAFe Agile practices
Apply systems engineering expertise to feature designs to reduce overall risk to the software development effort

Engage with SMEs from other disciplines to fully understand the solution and document the designs.
Required Skills:
Demonstrated system engineering and technical experience with software systems development

The role's core responsibility revolves around empowering development teams with a robust platform that streamlines processes, enhances collaboration, and accelerates release cycles, thereby driving efficiency and innovation.
You will be on a team that is responsible for development and operational environments consisting of a mix of servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware. These environments provide the enterprise hybrid-cloud backbone for product development and testing for a large program producing a critical, strategic national asset. Support transitioning a system that is tightly coupled to the underlying infrastructure
Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premises cloud computing environments
Leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management
