Cornerstone’s Intelligence Sector provides solutions to the United States Government for information collection, operations, exploitation and dissemination, and research activities. Our Team specializes in software development, cloud architecture, systems and network engineering, systems integration, agile management, as well as targeting operations and intelligence analysis. Our support to our mission customers includes cyber network operations, exploitation and defense, signals intelligence, human intelligence, and critical missions and networks.


Software Engineer will develop, support, and maintain web applications, code-based solutions, and web-based technical solutions for critical search and discovery tools and applications utilizing current cloud technology. The tools that are produced will enable the end-users to quickly, efficiently, and easily access the most pertinent data and information to accomplish their mission. These goals will be accomplished by the Software Engineer in a fast-paced environment with significant interaction throughout the development lifecycle and beyond.



•            Active TS/SCI with polygraph

•            Five (5) or more years of experience in software development, software engineering or related

•            Working within an Agile environment

•            Translating customer and system requirements into detailed designs, interfaces and associated deliverables

•            Developing single page applications using HTML, CSS3, and Angular

•            Developing RESTful web services using Java or other technologies such as Spring Framework or Spring Security

•            Troubleshooting Internet and Web related protocols and technologies such as Tomcat, Nodejs, web services or SSL

•            Working with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Nexus


Optional Skills:

•            Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Note that education can be substituted for years of relevant experience

•            Utilizing test tools and platforms such as Junit, Jasmine, Jest or Karma

•            Using AWS or other cloud environments

•            Using non-relational databases such as DynamoDB
