Support a small team in a dynamic, mission-focused environment, providing hands on support to highly technical user community. The SA will respond to Tier 1 and Tier 2 level requests and trouble tickets. This will involve potentially the following duties: computer workstation setup/configuration/troubleshooting, peripheral device troubleshooting/replacement, user inquiries/problems, user account management, shared drive access control, multi-use group management, network troubleshooting, and deferral support to higher tier personnel. The SA will also be responsible for removable media control/processing, desktop VTC support, application requests/installation/troubleshooting, and other user level support tasks. Additionally, the CSA will also provide surge support to other network support and project activities that may arise. Location: Sterling VA area

Mandatory Skills
• Experience administering Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems.
• Experience providing close support for Sponsor's environment
• Familiarity with Sponsor's enterprise access request system
• Deep knowledge of MS Active Directory to manage group access and distribution lists
• Administrator account with permissions on Sponsor's network
• Dedication to precision adherence to policy and standard operating procedures.
• Understanding of local area networks and information security practices.
• Experience creating, maintaining, and updating documentation, diagrams, and specifically security documentation.
Optional Skills
• Experience with workflow and ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow)
• Experience with shell scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Perl).
• Competency with Microsoft Visio
• Knowledge of virtualization platforms and technologies (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix).
• Professional certification(s) (e.g. CompTIA, Cisco, VMware, Microsoft, etc.)
• Familiarity with Communications Security (COMSEC)
• Familiarity with RF technologies, including cellular and Wi-Fi
