|The Sponsor is seeking support in the domain of Endpoint Security Engineering. The focus is primarily on working in a mission technology area, which uses multiple IT systems and networks that operate in both the secure and unsecure environments. The unsecure cloud networks are primarily within Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. The Sponsor is transforming its networks, systems, and applications processes to build a secure and trusted computing environment while providing the capabilities for secure information sharing across the enterprise. The Systems Architect will develop and document design concepts that are consistent with Sponsor architectural guidance and industry best practices to address current infrastructure enhancements, new user/system requirements, transitions to the Sponsor technical environment, and enhancements to performance. They will analyze the schedule and performance implications of alternative design concepts for application components and the supporting infrastructure and support the analysis and evaluation of related legacy business processes, the design of improved processes, and the efforts necessary to substantiate new efforts. The Systems Architect will identify mission impacts because of new information technology services, ensure the interoperability of current and future systems and software releases for all supported applications, and analyze and study complex system requirements, proposing technical solutions to Sponsor management. They will also perform strategic systems planning and analysis, reporting results to Sponsor management; coordinate, review, and integrate the deliverables of information and technology architects into cohesive solutions architectures; and design all data solutions in alignment with applicable policies, standards, and practices. |
