Position Overview:
The Systems Engineer will be a part of a high-performing team that are immersed in high intensity projects. As a member of the Systems Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of innovative technology in an agile environment. This position will be involved in the entire system development life cycle, from idea creation and development through maintenance and support of the customer’s delivered system. This role will support the development of system requirements, architecture, interface design, algorithm design, User Guide, and Interface Control Document (ICD) authoring.

General Responsibilities:

  • Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
  • Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
  • Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
  • Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
  • Develops, maintains, and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
  • Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

General Requirements:

  • Specifically looking for individuals experienced in one or more of the following:
    • Systems Integration and test (working with hardware in our labs)
    • Experience with Line-Of-Sight (LOS) or Beyond-Line-Of-Sight (BLOS) systems required (see SSOW)
    • Systems Architecture design
    • Developing responses to customer request for information / request for proposal and support of new business pursuits
