Information System Security Manager

 Cyber and Information Security Specialist (INFOSEC) perform functions in support of the directorate’s Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and deliver outcomes as follows:
 

• Review and analyze systems architecture diagrams and networks.
• Support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) requirements and process and apply ICD 503, NISPOM, and other federal guidelines in support of systems used at contractor facilities.
• Assist program systems owners and/or service providers throughout the risk management framework (RMF), including the assessment and authorization (A&A) processes, as follows:
  • Provide advice to program system owners and/or service providers on the creation of required system documentation or body of evidence; review and provide recommendation for approval or disapproval, as appropriate.  
  • Assess security and privacy controls and data protection in sponsor information systems and environments of operation as part of the initial security assessment and during operational changes affecting information systems’ security posture.
  • Assist the security control accessors (SCA), as appropriate, in performing security systems assessments and reviewing risk elements in the executive Risk System (ERS) report.
  • Create plans of action & milestones (POA&Ms) and/or request risk acceptance through a security assessor(SA) , who will certify the ERS report to the appropriate authorizing official (AO) or designated AO.
• Regarding the RMF and A&A processes, produce an annual A&A report of trends, challenges, and risk with recommended mitigation and process improvements.
• Provide oversight and guidance to ensure compliance with program information security regulations and policies on processes and request, such as Data Transfer Request; Access Request; Service/Change Request; Purchase Request; Accountable Property Management; Waivers, including medical devises and introduction (use) of equipment /devises into SCIF; and Equipment Transport.  Produce a Weekly Activity Report.
• Facilitate development, maintenance and security review of AIS security plans for computers, networks, and information systems deployed and used at contractor facilities, ensuring that sponsor and program approving signatures are acquired and documented.
• Conduct technical exchange meetings to facilitate AIS security solutions for both industrial contractors and government systems; and produce comprehensive solutions to technically complex systems and challenges.
• Ensure documentation is complete and accurate in accordance with sponsor and program AIS policies and requirements.
• As necessary, support the investigation of virus/malware alerts/incidents to determine root cause, entry point of code, damage risk, and report this information.
• Write reports based on technical analysis of sponsor or industrial partners systems, and as applicable provide recommendations for mitigating issues in the future.
• Analysis systems , including forensically, for malware, misuse, and/or unauthorized activity.
• Ensure discovered cyber incidents and data spills are reported per program SOP; support investigations and remediation/clean up as necessary, and provide guidance in coordination with program security management and other groups as appropriate.
• Provide information security training and refine, edit, and maintain training material, as necessary to ensure it is up to date with current policies, regulations, and best practices.
• Participate in project review meetings and provide technical cyber security advise/expertise to program personnel.
• Advise on technical and performance characteristics of new technologies, as relates to sponsor policies and regulations.
• Review complex sponsor and industrial partners system designs for security risk and compliance with sponsor policy and regulations; propose resolution and preventive strategies.
• Communicate complex technical concepts, project information, and security policy clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Seeking a Business Intelligence/Data Reporting Analyst responsible for working closely with Client Customer Engagement project teams to provide the customer with business analysis expertise, report creation, and dashboard design in a tactical capacity, evaluate internal and external client requirements, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
The selected candidate will gather, analyze, and document functional/reporting requirements (e.g., user stories using interviews, documentation analysis, site visits, use cases, and scenarios) and design, assemble, and deliver reports and dashboards for Client’s AEON Business Process Management platform in a manner consistent with client expectations. 

Job Requirements:

• Ability to consolidate, interpret, and present data in reports/dashboards for Executives, Team Leads, and Individual End Users focused on Acquisition and Financial Information.

The Systems Engineer (SE) should have ServiceNow development skills including Service Portal, Service Catalog, Widget development, Record Producers, Scripting in the Portal space and UI16, Flow Designer, UI Policy, Client Script, UI Actions, Script Includes, importing data sources, etc. The SE will design, develop, and modify software systems; document and track vendor software roadmaps for software and patch version updates; unit test their software and perform code reviews; and modify and integrate commercial software into cloud environment. They should understand multi-cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure, Google, and others and will provide the Sponsor estimated costs of deploying system components to the target environment. JOB DESCRIPTION: 
This is an exciting opportunity to support an important effort that requires a self-motivated, creative developmental-level individual to serve as a Communications Officer to support a Customer department that focuses on external engagement, research, and innovation.  The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, editing, and maintaining communications for the department and content updates to the Customer web site and associated platforms, and pushing communications to achieve the Customer’s communication goals.  S/he is a team player who takes initiative and closely collaborates with Communications Team members and with the department workforce and subject matter experts. 
The Communications Officer will work with the customer to develop communications products in multiple formats, including web content, to ensure regular and transparent communications for department personnel.  An important function for the candidate will be identifying, publishing, and refreshing content for the group’s web presence on the customer system.
 Key Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to, the following:
Helping to develop and distribute employee communications content that supports the Customer’s communications strategy and reflects key messaging.

• Managing the Customer’s web presence to ensure relevant, interactive, and current information is available to the workforce.
• Proactively engaging with department personnel to understand communications requirements and content updates for their web presence.
• Drafting and publishing content across the range of internal communication channels, including the Customer’s website.

Required Qualifications:
 

• Bachelor's degree and (14) years or more of related experience. Masters and (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and (9) years or more experience.

• Familiar with emerging technologies and/or has a basic understanding of topics in the STEM field.
• Experience managing web content; knowledge of web design tools.
• Experience or working knowledge of computer-based graphic design.

• The Contractor shall work closely with the Sponsor’s technical lead to architect, deploy, and maintain multiple, fast-turnaround capabilities used to perform various highly-visible and high-priority collection efforts.
• The Contractor shall coordinate with multiple entities, including mission partners, to ensure capabilities and deliverables meet defined requirements and tradecraft needs.

• The Contractor shall create and maintain collection capabilities and deliverables within the Sponsor’s Amazon Web Services environment utilizing sponsored approved AWS services.
• The Contractor shall validate collected data to ensure it meets data format requirements.
• The Contractor shall maintain all source code in Sponsor’s GitHub repository.
• The Contractor shall document all source code, including how to execute the code.
• The Contractor shall perform operations and maintenance on the collection capabilities and deliverables to adapt to changes in collection target, technologies, data formats, and naming conventions.
