Seeking consultants with Oracle PeopleSoft application functional, development and/or administration experience to support a customer’s Education and Learning Management (ELM) PeopleSoft installation. The role provides PeopleSoft software/system functional and development consulting services at client location. Professionals in this mid-level role manage essential infrastructure services, ensuring high availability and performance of data center services, physical and virtual server-class systems and storage.  They are expected to lead medium-to-large scale projects, design and implement system policies, conduct advance troubleshooting, and are pivotal in the direct recovery efforts during critical system failures.  They also mentor Tier I/II staff members.  Professionals in this role are expected to have the ability to work alone and as part of larger team to complete projects on time.
Technologies:

Technical Expert (Server)

Roles & Responsibilities:
Beyond Linux/VMware  System Administrator IV functions, the Technical Expert (TE) provides leadership in developing cutting-edge solutions, strategies and protocols for the HPC Infrastructure environment.  They handle the most complex challenges, lead research and development initiatives, architect and design initiatives, and provide expert consultations to Program Managers and IT staff. Technical Experts are expected to set educational performance standards for the technical team. TE’s are also responsible for maintaining technical working aids, creating and developing standard operating procedures, and conducting technical exchanges and leading brown bag sessions.

Tier II professionals in this category support foundational aspects of the enterprise's HPC infrastructure and user-facing services utilizing Linux desktop operating systems. They conduct routine system maintenance checks, perform hardware and software installations, and assist in troubleshooting software (including applications), hardware technical issues (including peripherals) utilizing ServiceNow ticketing system. They are also responsible for documenting standard operating procedures and assisting higher-level administrators in larger projects.
Technologies:

SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR IV shall have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, and have ten (10) years of demonstrable experience in system administration and support of a large client-server based IT enterprise.  Or the individual shall have five (5) years of full time computer science work that can be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree, and have ten (10) years of demonstrable experience in system administration and support of a large client-server based IT enterprise.  An industry recognized professional certification may substitute as one year experience.

Experience shall include installation, configuration, and networking of UNIX and/or NT based platforms.  This experience shall include: creating, modifying and deleting user accounts, performing system back-ups, and maintaining system configuration files.  Individual shall have a fundamental understanding of operating systems ad be familiar with either UNIX or NT commands or utilities at the user level.  Experience shall include the installation and configuration of hardware, operating systems, and commercial software packages.  Individual shall be able to develop and implement enterprise backup/recovery strategies, server configuration and consolidation, and verification of the health and status of the entire IT infrastructure.  Individual shall be able to provide support for enterprise services such as DNS, NFS, e-mail services, security protection mechanisms, and the interoperability of UNIX and NT based systems.
 
SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR IV for HPC
In addition to the above qualifications, SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR IV FOR HPC must have the following qualifications required by the relevant TTO:
• Installation, configuration, tuning, troubleshooting and administration of:
o Multi-vendor servers running numerous COTS, opensource, and in-house applications to accommodate HPC Division IT support requirements
o Multi-vendor servers running Red Hat of SuSe with direct attached, FC SAN storage or SSDs
• Distributing computing tools such as ReS, LSF, and SLURM
• HPC farm systems, HPC MPP clustered systems, Front End servers of Special Purpose devices (SPDs)
• IBM of HP Blade servers with FC/SAS/Network back end
• Multi-vendor filesystems such as XFS, GPFS and Lustre
• Pre-Factory testing, Factory testing, System integration and Acceptance testing during the purchase process of the HPS systems
• Accepted professional certifications include:
o Valid RHCSA or higher red Hat certification
o Valid VMWare certification

• Support implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Windows servers (2012, 2016, and 2019), including the provisioning of a Windows 11 VDI infrastructure for enclave access and program support.
• Support IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, etc.
• Escalation and communication of status to management and internal customers
• Provides Tier 2 and 3 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Creates and updates ServiceNow tickets accordingly.
• Manages GPOs, applies security and system patching and coordinates/supports all service leads utilizing Windows servers across the program.
• Configures and manages Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
• Will be comfortable in all areas of analysis, design, installation, implementation, configuration, tuning, administration, operation, and security of mid-to-large-tier Windows systems. 
• Be knowledgeable in the following categories: Power shell,  Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Active Directory,  Trelix ePolicy Orchestrator, Virtualization and VMWare, and Amazon Web Services.
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization and performs system capacity analysis and planning.
• Analyzes and resolves complex problems associated with servers, windows applications, and software integration.
• Be able to respond to after-hours requests as required in a 24 x 7 environment, as needed.
DoD 8570 Compliance with IAT level 1 is required. (Security+ or A+ certification)

The selected candidate will work on a team providing support and development for Electronic Records Management Services (RMS). The application provides a modern, secure, leading-edge capability compliant with external regulatory guidance including electronic maintenance, storage, search, audit, reporting, retrieval, lockdown, and disposition of records, considered both permanent and temporary.   
Seeking a dynamic individual with a strong background in Java development for critical undertakings encompassing software enhancements and endeavors tosupport and acceleratedata ingestion.   
Performinvestigation andresolve code ingestion issues, conducting thorough analysis, and writing and implementing fixes. 
Support application sustainment and enhancements per requirements, proactivelyidentify and correct potential issues before outages occur, and implement required code enhancements.  
Identify and resolve issues that arise during the ingestion process, such as scripts getting hung up orencountering errors.  
Engage with the customer throughout the development process, elicit requirements, troubleshoot technicalissues and ensuretimely delivery of the solution.  
The position will require working in a fast-paced team in an agile environment and a willingness to take on challenges to creatively solve customer requirement problem sets.
