Senior Systems Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
• Analyze and define how the system works creating use cases
• Decompose requirements, define system interfaces and help determine how requirements will be validated and verified by the test team
• Provide engineering support for the execution of a portion of the programs test program including test processes and baseline definition and test architecture design
• Support regression testing across deliverable releases to the program baseline
• Support and attend technical reviews and technical interchanges in support of the program
Basic Qualifications:
• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) in a related field and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience with systems engineering lifecycle, roles and functions, with specific experience in one or more of the following areas: Concept of Operations (ConOps) development, requirements definition and management, functional analysis or interface definition and control
• Development experience on a government contract
• Experience with Agile principles, to include Agile systems engineering practices and/or Agile roles
Preferred Qualifications:
• Development experience in project domain (e.g., mission management ground systems, space-based ISR platforms)
• Experience working in an Agile development environment and with Agile development tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.)
• Experience with MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler)

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to design and implement automatic technical solutions across multiple classification environments, working independently or as part of the team to address complex technical requirements.

Position Required Skills

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and deploying new features for a critical data transmission application that directly supports the US intelligence community. You will collaborate with a small, highly skilled team to build a robust, secure system that serves as the interface between multiple enterprise networks. This application plays a vital role in transmitting critical intelligence data from field sources to downstream systems. Your contributions will be instrumental as the application evolves into the central hub for all NiFi channels. 

 Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement new features for a data transmission application using Java and Apache NiFi.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate the application with multiple enterprise networks, ensuring secure and efficient data flow.
• Contribute to the technical roadmap, advancing the application into the central transmission hub for NiFi channels supporting the US intelligence community.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of Java or Python experience.

Position Description:
The DevOps Engineer shall be responsible for the development, enhancement, and sustainment of automation tools in support of automating infrastructure provisioning of High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems in a Linux environment.

Requirements:

• Experience using the Linux CLI
• Experience using Linux tools and developing Bash scripts to automate manual processes
• Strong Linux administration experience including software integration, service management, configuration management, and routine sustainment operations related to provisioning, storage, and networking
• Experience installing, configuring, and supporting COTS/GOTS/FOSS software, libraries, and packages in a Linux environment
• Experience with automation frameworks including Ansible for orchestrating deployment
• Recent software development experience using Python
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI, Bamboo, and Jenkins
• Experience with Git Source Control System

Position Desired Skills:

• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
• Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus ten (10) years of experience as an Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
OR
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus twelve (12) years of experience as an Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
OR
Fourteen (14) years of experience as an Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Support transitioning a system that is tightly coupled to the underlying infrastructure.
• Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines, optimizing for performance and scalability across cloudbased computing environments.
• Leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and other agile development teams to design and implement robust platform solutions.
• Integrate security and compliance into the platform with services such as encryption and access management.
• Provide operational support for the platform

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5 years of related work experience
• Experience designing, implementing, and integrating Cloud based systems on infrastructure platforms such as AWS.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef
• Experience with programming/scripting languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go)
• Must meet DoD 8570 IAT level II requirements (Security + CE or equivalent)
• Active and current U.S. government TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance is required day 1. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gitlab)
• Experience with RedHat Linux Experience developing, testing & delivering applications w/in a DevSecOps framework
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef
• Experience with scanning tools (E.g. Nessus, Fortify, Anchore)
• Infrastructure experience with computers, networks, storage, and virtualization
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google cloud
• Experience developing, testing & delivering applications w/in a DevSecOps framework
• Experience with troubleshooting applications & infrastructure services on Linux based Operating Systems Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration
