Roles and responsibilities potentially include:
 
The Satellite System Engineer will be part of a small team that supports a larger program. This small team through a keen understanding of mission purpose and system capability monitors and analyzes various overhead sensing platforms as well as associated ground systems and networks. As system capabilities are added or enhanced, the engineer will assist the team to understand if these enhancements continue to support mission requirements. The ability to review software plus system requirements, then plan and execute enterprise level testing may be required with discrepancies and gap analysis fed back into the SAFe development lifecycle. The engineer may also provide technical assistance in the development of next generation programs by creating day-in-the-life scenarios, contributing to overall mission CONOPs, and share lessons learned with the wider organization. Seeking a penetration tester for an Intelligence Community (IC) customer mission system. The successful candidate will perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing following the customer’s prescribed scope statement with authorities derived from the customer’s Enterprise cyber security organization. Responsibilities:

Conducts research and evaluates technical and all-source intelligence with specific emphasis on user behavior and patterns in a dynamic and changing mission environment. Detects anomalous activity in raw and processed log files for deeper exploration using IC tools and databases. Differentiates between general and targeted or suspicious scanning. Identifies trends RF systems and performs behavior analysis. Uses Splunk dashboards to create alerts and investigate log files. Correlates threat data from various sources. Writes concise assessments that highlight findings supported by evidence, articulating the impact of conclusions.

Job Description:

The individual selected for this position will support the Customer's organization responsible for supporting thecorporate career development, which is a learning institution, where skills-specific training divisions leverage privatesector opportunities to raise digital acumen throughout the Sponsor organization. The office environment is fast-pacedand requires a self-starter. The Sponsors office consists of five (5) components, of which the SE will support the digiLearn Platform.

 

The System Engineer (SE) shall be responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including the integration of middleware with COTS as well as enterprise systems. Responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to the following:
