We are seeking a Data Scientist to support our customer. This position will work directly with a Chief Data & Artificial Intelligence Officer (CDAO) to support a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work closely with government customer and IT developers to validate customer's data and data analytics requirements.

This position will also be responsible for the following:

Qualifications

Current TS/SCI with Poly is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant STEM field.
10+ years of total professional experience in a technical setting; with at least 5 of those years as a Data Scientist, or related role.
Ability to implement effective data solutions to ingest, curate, store and retrieve agency mission, business and IC data.
Ability to establish a system environment for large data sets, considering aspects such as data capture, storage, extraction, process and analysis.
Experience using data visualization tools to create roadmaps, placemats and process flows; and the ability to creatively display data to facilitate customer decision-making processes.
Ability to manipulate data from disparate structured and unstructured sources to develop models and other detailed analysis that provide meaningful data insights.
Experience with Programming languages like Python, Java, SQL and Cloud technologies.
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced mission environment which requires balancing competing priorities and schedules.
Desired Skills:

Have a depth of experience in data science, to include demonstrated experience with programming languages (e.g. Python, SQL), statistical programs (e.g. R and MS Excel), and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).

This position provides support to an SAIC intelligence community customer. The Data Engineer will manipulate data and data flows for both existing and new systems.
