The mission of the Search Team is to run queries and complete intense research to uncover responsive copies document(s) requested by the customer.  Collections can include a variety of forms including, but not limited to: electronic, hardcopy, microfilm2. This position is the focal point for providing intelligence reporting and reference services to the entire organization. The right candidate must have significant prior customer knowledge and relatable experience that they are able to utilize in order to perform the research. Seeking a highly motivated, self-directed professional to fill the role of Software Developer. The ideal candidate has the ability to develop software to parse various data types and transform them into a common data model. Maintaining the existing data parsing code and associated database tables. General support of a large database (50+ TB) holding the mission data
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 2-3 years of practical, hands-on experience with Java
• Demonstrated experience in AWS
• Experience with file input and output
• Experience with libraries used to read and write structured data (XML, JSON, CSV, etc.)
• Experience with Devops (Maven, Gradle, Jenkin, Nexus)
• Experience with Unit testing (JUnit, Mockito, etc.)
• Proven ability to understand and debug existing code
• Experience working with large data volumes requiring highly performant code
• Oracle Database Experience
o Experience writing complex SQL statements to join multiple tables
o Experience designing schemas (tables, columns, foreign keys, etc.)
o Experience with large databases (million+ rows)
• Ability to work independently
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with Java 8 Streams
• Experience writing stored procedures and PL/SQL

Seeking a highly motivated, self-directed professional to fill the role of Applications Software Developer on our team in the Herndon, VA area. The ideal candidate will excel at designing, building, and deploying highly scalable, resilient, performant services in an integrated team to continually improve DevOps posture. They will work with current application teams to understand current analytics, review test plans, and to collaborate with user interface designers to ensure developed software integrates seamlessly. Additionally, they will serve as an expert resource within the development team to determine the needs of the business that will simplify and automate the application services. Required Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related or an additional 6 years of experience in lieu of degree
• Demonstrated experience with Java and one or more technologies (e.g., Servlets, Hibernate, Spring, Web Services/J2EE)
• Demonstrated experience with datasets both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience in continuous integration and delivery tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience in Web server technologies (Tomcat, Web Logic, IIS, HttpCore)
