We are looking for a skilled Python Data Engineer to join our team. As a Python Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines. We are looking for someone to design, build, and optimize systems for data collection, storage, access, and analytics at enterprise scale. We are seeking a Cyber Network Defense Analyst in Herndon, VA. As a Cyber Network Defense Analyst on our team, you will use your expertise in Host Based Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) and specialized network defense to provide innovative and creative solutions to challenging cyber security problems. Manage and administer the tuning of rules, signatures, and custom content for CND applications and systems. Identify potential conflicts with implementation of any CND tools within the enterprise and develop recommendations to remediate these conflicts.     Provide engineering review, coordination, and oversight for operations, maintenance, repair, and construction work, and oversee and coordinate activities with trade shops, including prioritizing work, reviewing ongoing projects, inspecting installed equipment, and overseeing and coordinating work orders, service orders, and projects. Plan, conduct, and direct projects or major phases of significant projects and coordinate the efforts of engineers and technical support staff. Manage project design or construction efforts, including scheduling, funding, and day-to-day project oversight, manage and evaluate construction contractor performance, integrate and coordinate projects with field personnel, evaluate, validate, and manage project change requests, and provide official weekly project status reports. Assist the client's contracting officer (CO) and contracting officer's technical representative (COTR) with acquisition planning, execution, and administration, assist the CO and COTR with conducting pre-bid and pre-construction site visits with the COTR, provide invoice supporting information to the COTR for payment, prepare and monitor project schedules, provide technical guidance and assistance on contracting and construction issues, direct design efforts, recommend construction documents for approval, and oversee any follow-on maintenance programs. Optimize performance, cost, and schedule by ensuring project objectives are achieved on schedule and at the lowest cost compatible with user requirements. Ensure timely input of all data, comments, and documentation into the MAXIMO software project management tool. Ensure the integration of all systems, including information technology, telephone, security, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.

    Seeking consultants with Oracle PeopleSoft application functional, development and/or administration experience to support a customer’s Education and Learning Management (ELM) PeopleSoft installation. The role provides PeopleSoft software/system functional and development consulting services at client location.     JOB DESCRIPTION
    The Data Engineer will manipulate data and data flows for both existing and new systems. Additionally, they will provide support in the areas of data extraction, transformation and load (ETL), data mapping, data extraction, analytical support, operational support, database support, and maintenance support of data and associated systems. As a member of the team, candidates will work in a multi-tasking, quick-paced, dynamic, process-improvement environment that requires experience with the principles of large-scale (terabytes) database development, large-scale file manipulation, data modeling, data mapping, data testing, data quality, and documentation preparation.

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

    1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
    2. 8+ years of related software engineering and ETL experience.
    3. Excellent organizational, coordination, interpersonal and team building skills.
