Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
We are actively seeking Systems Engineers with a minimum of 3 years' experience. Undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science or computer engineering. Specific skills may include the following:

Job Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for satellite ground systems.
• Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
• A breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques including multi-tiered architectures, AWS web services, and microservice software design
• Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques
• Satellite ground system technologies including command & telemetry, flight dynamics, planning and scheduling, and spacecraft operation
Basic Quals:
• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of relevant software engineering experience
• Experience developing software using C++ and Java
• Experience with the satellite command & telemetry or similar domain
• Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain TS/SCI without Polygraph prior to start. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Position Description:
The Software Engineer shall be responsible for creating, sustaining, and troubleshooting complex operational data flows including data storage, data transport, data management, data security, data compliance, and knowledge store management. Additional tasking shall include working with the mission customer to perform exploratory data analysis on raw data to clean, enrich, transform and convert the raw data into the required formats. The Software Engineer shall also be responsible for devising methods to improve existing operational data flow processing, distribution, and reliability.
